Suzuki Shows Off New City Car Concepts in Tokyo

City cars are quickly gaining momentum. They're efficient, compact, affordable, and clean. In fact, they embody almost every positive trait that a vehicle can in appealing to urban commuters and light travelers. That's why we here at Hart Suzuki are pleased to bring you a look at three new city cars from the Japanese automaker.

First up, there's the Suzuki Q. This is, perhaps, the most interesting of the three. It features a unique Q-shaped design, seating for two, and a small battery that's capable of traveling six miles on a charge. The Q brings minimalist commuting to a whole new level, and it's sure to turn heads wherever it goes.

Want something a bit more conventional? The Suzuki Regina is a lightweight city car that keeps that standard vehicle layout that we know and love. It seats four, while staying light at 1,609 lbs. However, that hasn't stopped Suzuki from packing the cabin with the latest and best-designed technology.

Of course, we realize that some of you out there may want to stick with something a bit more familiar, which is why Suzuki also unveiled the Swift EV. The European-exclusive variant     is gaining an range-extended electric variant, which can travel 12 to 18 miles on electricity alone. For longer trips it can switch to gasoline, so there's really no limit for how far this baby can travel.
