Suzuki Volkswagen Partnership Continues After Bumpy Road

Those who frequent the Hart Suzuki blog may remember our previous report about the Japanese automaker's stressful partnership with German automaker, Volkswagen. While it seemed as though the two automaker would possibly be parting ways in the near future, we're happy to report that both have opted to keep the partnership alive; a move that we think will be most beneficial.

More specifically, it was with the German automaker's help that the all-new Suzuki Kizashi was able to be developed so efficiently. If we're able to see more new models like the Kizashi soon thanks to this partnership, than we think it's well worth it.

Reportedly, Volkswagen will keep its 19.9 percent stake in Suzuki, as the two companies work to share technologies, markets, and resources. With as popular as Suzuki is in regions like China, Japan, and India, it only makes sense that Volkswagen would invest in them to increase sales revenues in those markets, the greater Roanoke area, and beyond.
